Springboard

Springboards are short-term engagements where we help you with a specific problem or process. Springboards are a great introduction to working with us.

We’ll flexibly design your Springboard based on what you want to achieve. A Springboard might look like a strategic stock-take, a catalytic decision-making process, or a contextual or systems analysis. 

Every Springboard is consistent in that, together, we will bring visibility to the systems you’re working in and clarify your place in them, zero in on the approaches and changes needed to maximise your impact, and ensure you know your next steps to action these changes. 

The investment for a Springboard is AUD 20k.

Action Learning

Action Learning Sets (ALS) are a simple and powerful way for people to learn from each other in community.  We’ve been told that being in the ‘hot seat’ is the most powerful and profound leadership development people have experienced in their careers’. 

Guided by a skilled facilitator, an ALS allows you to explore challenges and hear reflections from people you trust. You’ll build your capability to ask powerful questions and gain fresh insights to bring to any challenge. You’ll also form trusting relationships with the other members of your set, expanding and strengthening your network. 

ALS are particularly useful for leaders growing in new roles or challenges, navigating organisational change, or for teams and groups developing new capacities or innovating. 

Membership in sets is carefully curated, or new sets are formed around specific contexts.

Learning Partnerships

As your long-term learning partners we’ll bring expertise, structure and objectivity to you and your team. Enabling you to see opportunities for system shifts, and respond effectively to what is emerging.

Practically, a learning partnership provides a suite of support, including facilitated sessions through strategic planning and/or reflection processes, regular and responsive advice, a sounding board for key decisions and support implementing changes, and assistance when communicating with your board, partners, funders and other stakeholders.

Ultimately, as your learning partners we are here to help you take thoughtful, informed and courageous action. 

Building Collective Capacity

We are committed to transformative change of the systems we all operate within. We work with and convene groups ready to collaborate for this change. 

We help groups with diverse backgrounds and perspectives come together and build the openness and trust required to do tough, systems shifting work together. 

We’ve worked with groups to co-create and implement new sector initiatives, collectively make meaning from past experiences, evaluate what’s driving outcomes and find opportunities for greater impact. We’ve helped sectors understand themselves as an ecosystem, transform practice, and build their collective power.


Retreats

We host an annual retreat for social and systems change leaders to reflect, grow and sustain themselves, called haven.

We know leaders of social and systems change work need space and time with peers to gain perspective and sustain themselves. We see reflective, peer-based spaces as critical for this. At haven, you invited to join with your peers – others who are leading complex social change initiatives, processes and organisations – to engage in individual reflection, group exploration and have space to do what nourishes and energises you – writing, reading, walking, sauna’ing, yoga, meditation, being in nature…

Our aim is that you leave feeling energised, clear eyed and supported.

haven is hosted annually in September, in Whakatū / Nelson, Aotearoa / New Zealand. haven 2024 is currently full, but please check back for the 2025 offering.
